MAXBOND — Primers

MAXBOND Primers are ideal for priming both interior and exterior masonry, stucco and exterior insulation finishing systems. On these substrates, it is especially applicable as a primer beneath latex paints and latex high build coatings, such as MAXFLEX Elastomeric and DURA Crete Exterior 100% Acrylic Texture Coatings.

Colors below marked in bold are considered a primary color. If color choice is unknown, data sheets in this color should be viewed.

	Clear
	A clear drying primer that works well under dark colors, it is ideal as a high penetrating, waterborne, VOC compliant, pigmented white primer for both uncoated and previously painted interior and exterior masonry surfaces. Cohesively bonds chalky surfaces and fine loose particles to allow adhesion of the topcoat to the masonry substrate. This product also serves as an alkali-resistant primer sealer for uncoated, porous masonry. It may be used on vertical precast and poured concrete, and plaster that is a minimum of 7 days old. Other masonry must cure a minimum of 3 days. Also excellent for priming weathered EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finishing Systems). NOT recommended for floors, for wood surfaces, or for use as a finish coat.

	Pigmented White
	A pigmented coating that helps to impart hiding to the coating system, it is ideal as a high penetrating, waterborne, VOC compliant, pigmented white primer for both uncoated and previously painted interior and exterior masonry surfaces. Cohesively bonds chalky surfaces and fine loose particles to allow adhesion of the topcoat to the masonry substrate.
