The following is a listing of Duron products that are low in VOC. As indicated, they may also meet the VOC and chemical component standards of Green Seal (GS), GS-11 First Edition 1993 and GC-03 Second Edition 1997, and/or the VOC and chemical component standards of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED®-NC Version 2.2 with Errata Posted September 2006 and LEED®-CI Version 2.0 with Errata Posted July 27, 2007. The following is a listing of Duron products that are low in VOC. They may also meet the VOC
and chemical component standards of Green Seal (GS)
GS-11 First Edition 1993 and
GS-03 Second Edition 1997, and/or the VOC and chemical component
standards of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED®-NC Version 2.2 with Errata Posted
September 2006, and LEED®-CI Version 2.0.
The Errata Sheet EQc4.2, 337 (effectively a "change order") from the U.S. Green Building Council
dated September 2006 and pertaining to the LEED®-NC "New Construction" program states, "Primers must
meet the VOC limit for non-flat paint". This statement published on usgbc.org under LEED®-NCv2.2
Errata Sheet increases the VOC allowance for Primers from the original 50 g/L requirement to 150 g/L.
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED® programs that pertain to indoor air quality are, however,
not applicable if the paint is used on the exterior.
